Stroman4局上被Adam Jones敲出金鶯團隊首支安打，2人出局、二壘有人，Stroman面對單季敲出47轟的全壘打王Trumbo，Trumbo面對低角度的球硬是拉出左外野全壘打大牆，用兩分砲回敬藍鳥，4局結束、金鶯取得2：1領先。

Tillman5局下遇到亂流，抓下1個出局數後，被Michael Saunders及Kevin Pillar敲出連續2支二壘安打、攻占二、三壘，Ezequiel Carrera敲出適時安打，藍鳥追平比數。

藍鳥1人出局，攻佔一、三壘，金鶯當機立斷換上中繼投手Mychal Givens，Givens用雙殺完美化解藍鳥攻勢，5局結束雙方2：2平手。
